Anglesey

Anglesey (or Ynys Mon) is an island located off the north west coast of Wales. It boasts a number of beautiful beaches, and as a result has long been a popular destination for traditional bucket and spade family holidays. The island is also a walker’s paradise – the Welsh Coastal Path runs its circumference. There are also many cultural sites to visit including Beaumaris Castle and Plas Newydd, a stunning National Trust property.

Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog)

The Brecon Beacons is a national park in South Wales. The area boasts some of the country’s most spectacular scenery – much of the landscape is mountainous and rugged, with the highest peak being the imposing Pen-y-Fan.

New Forest

A national park in southern England famous for its native, free roaming ponies, the New Forest is the perfect location for those looking to escape the stresses of everyday life. The beautiful countryside and fascinating wildlife make it a top destination for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers.

North East Wales

North East Wales has long been a popular destination for tourists. This corner of Wales boasts a rich history, a stunning coastline and a number of attractions suitable for all the family.

North West Wales

North West Wales boasts some of the country’s most spectacular scenery. It includes Snowdonia, the Lleyn Peninsular and Anglesey. The mountainous area of Snowdonia provides hill walkers with a variety of challenging routes. Stunning beaches can also be found along the region’s coastline.

North York Moors

One of England’s national parks, the North York Moors is a region characterised by widespread heather moorland, a rugged coastline and quaint villages. The much loved ITV drama Heartbeat was set in the area.

Pembrokeshire

A county in South West Wales that boasts a stunning coastline. The Pembrokeshire National Park is home to countless pretty beaches suitable for family holidays, along with cliff top walks where you can take in and observe the local wildlife. Dolphins can often be seen from this region, and the area is, of course, extremely popular with birdwatchers.

Snowdonia

A national park in North Wales, Snowdonia is home to the highest mountain in Wales and England : Snowdon. The area has some of the most spectacular scenery in the whole of the United Kingdom and is very popular with tourists.

South East Wales

South East Wales is home to picturesque rural areas along with the vibrant capital of Wales, Cardiff. The area is steeped in history and there is no shortage of things to do for day trippers and holidaymakers.

Yorkshire Dales

The Yorkshire Dales National Park is home to some of England’s most beautiful countryside. The area is very popular with hill walkers – many come to tackle the iconic Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. Interesting geological features, such as the limestone pavement at Malham Cove, also attract visitors to the region.
