A Journey to Completing the Three Peaks Challenge (Yorkshire) 

When I mentioned to my husband a couple of years ago that I would one day like to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge I didn’t think for one moment that he would take any notice. However, before I knew it he’d signed us both up for the endurance event – I didn’t know what I’d let myself in for! The 24 mile route takes on the peaks if Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent in the Yorkshire Dales National Park with the aim of finishing in less than twelve hours.

We decided that we would have a couple of practice walks before tackling all three at once. Here is how we got on!
